My review of Kenan Orhan’s impressive debut collection of stories, I Am My Country and other stories has been published by Bosphorus Review of Books. It is my second published review. BROB has published several of my stories over the past few years, the first one having been “The Fern That Fell”. For lovers of fine literature and those who love Turkey, Kenan Orhan’s short story collection is highly recommended.

I generally do not read reviews until after seeing the play or movie because I don’t want to be influenced by them. However, I did not have the choice this time. Your review makes me want to read this collection. You write so well both critically and imaginatively. While I read this review, I was thinking what a great university professor you would make. University students would really benefit from your knowledge and experience. I know I do!
